Owner/DirectorJorden has more than 10 years of experience in the childcare field. She started part-time at a locally owned daycare in her hometown of Antioch, IL, while she attended the College of Lake County, taking classes toward her Associate’s degree in Arts and Education. Then she transferred to Northern Illinois University, where she graduated with her bachelor’s degree in Child Development (FCNS) with an emphasis on Leadership Studies. This is also where Jorden met her husband and co-owner of Brightest Stars Preschool, Tom. They moved out to Elburn in 2024 and have two daughters, Harper and Juliet.

Teachers AssistantJulia joins our staff as a Teacher Assistant. She has extensive experience working at a preschool and will be a wonderful addition to our staff.
She lives in Sugar Grove with her husband, Terry and their dog, Olivia. They have two sons, Andrew and Isaac. Andrew is a Sugar Grove firefighter/paramedic and Isaac is in the US Marine Corps. As a family, they love hiking and vacationing on the beach in North Carolina.

Lead TeacherAriane lives in Sugar Grove with her husband, Chris, and their two daughters, Raegan (17) and Jordan (7). They have been very involved in our community since 2010.
Her bachelor's degree is in Elementary Education; however, she has spent most of her professional time in Early Childhood settings. She started working at different preschools when she was in college, about 20 years ago. She did take a break from teaching, due to family needs, but her heart always brought her back to the classroom.
Ariane’s hobbies/interests are vast! She loves to explore and travel, photographing everything, as well as reading, writing and all different types of music.

A Dream Come True
Jorden has had many roles in various daycare settings, but she has always dreamed of owning her own preschool. Brightest Stars Preschool is where she achieved that lifetime goal of being the owner/director of one of the most wonderfully established preschools in the area! Tom has helped Jorden make her dream come true and will continue to support Jorden as the company’s co-owner behind the scenes, while also working full-time at UPS. Jorden will be the director and teacher of the preschool day-to-day.
